It has been one month since i’m back from Hong Kong.
Miss the food the most, esp the Roast Goose and Century egg from Yung Kee. 😦
Come! Let me introduce this MUST TRY RESTAURANT in Hong Kong.
Die Die cannot miss it if you visit Hong Kong.

FYI, people are already queuing outside.
Cam-whore while waiting.. hahaha!
Can’t shop as their shops have yet to open.

A little background about Yung Kee
(Credits to Yung Kee’s website).
Yung Kee is famous for its Roast Goose among people (in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau and tourists from many countries).The goose is so superb that it acquires a nickname known as “Flying Roast Goose”. After trying the Roast Goose, many will buy and hand carry this delicacy back. But please don’t attempt to bring this back to Singapore, it is not allowed!
Since 1968, Yung Kee is one of the Top Fifteen Restaurants in the World (Fortune Magazine). Look at the list of award they have obtained till date
Their Roasted Goose is really tender and it JUST MELTS in your mouth.
Non-oily and it just leave me wanting more.
The waitress told us that this is another popular dish
Crispy Roasted Pigeon (My favorite)!!!
Crispy and tender but not everyone can accustomed to its taste.
My cousin said that it has a very STRONG BIRD (Duh) taste…
Ended up,i have to finish half of this dish.
Cruel i know.
Seasonal Vegetable and Mushrooms
Not too salty and the veggie is extremely crunchy.
The oyster sauce just adds on to the tastiness
Fried Rice with nuts
‘Fried’ to perfection with nuts adding the extra crunch. I’m in heaven (someone please bring me back)
Preserved Eggs and Pickled Ginger
Singapore’s century egg is pale in comparison to this.
Try it for yourself and you’ll know why i said so…
FYI, you can get these century eggs as a gift for your friends and relatives.
It comes in a gift box in pack of 4s
As you know, Hong Kong is over populated so everywhere you go there will be many people.
So be prepared to queue if you want to get good food.
