Hello! I’m back with a review blog post for two of Elite Models cosmetics that Michelle from Suzanni Beaute has sent me. As mentioned in my earlier blog post, my first encounter with Elite Models cosmetics was in Taiwan… During my pre-wedding photoshoot, my makeup artist used one of Elite’s product on me and i really love the texture so i told myself i have to get it! Tried locating the Kajal Eyeliner in many Watsons in Taipei, Taichong and Hua Lien but it was all SOLD OUT!! 😦
Was really delighted to see the Elite Models cosmetics booth during Watson’s day out and I’m really happy to be able to purchase their products in SG!
Michelle has sent me 2 of their best-seller products – UV Base (Pink) & Intense Kajal

Elite Models UV Base (Pink)
Because i have very dull skintone due to post pimples marks and the nature of my skin (i have sensitive skin and can’t exfoliate much), the Pink UV base will help brighten up my skin while acting as a makeup primer.
The UV base / primer has high UV protection – SPF 30 which protects the skin from damage of UV rays which prevents dark spots and sunburn. Good for days when you have tired-looking skin day as this UV base will brighten and gives skin beautiful glow while it enables makeup to adhere on skin longer..
Formula is oil free, ultralight and it helps makeup to glide on smoother while it gives skin a dewy look. Moreover, it is enriched in aloe and licorice for moisturizing, lightening and calming properties. Due to the nature of the product, it is necessary to shake it before use so that texture will be more consistent.. After your skincare routine (After moisturizer), apply the UV base on entire face and neck on top of day cream and under makeup.
For people who are interested in the various ingredients used in this product…
Initially i thought that the base has a pinkish tone but i was wrong! The UV base is light beige in color and it has a light watery texture (Yay! So it won’t be too heavy for my easily clogged skin).
Upon contact with skin, the watery texture will turn powdery upon blending and it leaves skin really smooth.. The UV base can be blended easily and smoothly without any greasiness left behind! I’m really impressed as it leaves my skin feeling light and there’s no heavy afterfeel! It is said to be moisturizing for the upper layers of epidermis but i cannot comment much on the hydration level as i applied moisturizer before layering the UV base on… Because it contains pigments, i will not recommend that you skip your moisturizer and apply this UV base on as moisturizer is supposed to safe-guard your skin..
As you can see from the picture below, there’s an obvious difference between my left and right hand.. Applied the UV base on my left hand and you can see that skintone is much brighter and even.. Also, it appears to be more dewy and glowy! Tested the UV base on Suling’s wedding and the night before i only had 4 hours of sleep.. All thanks to this product, it instantly brightens up my tired skin.. At the end of the gate-crashing and photo-taking under the hot sun, most of the makeup stayed intact till i reached home in the afternoon… Phew!~
I finally have the Elite Intense Kajal in my hands now and i chose the one in precious grey as i want a much softer look.. However if you need a more intense color, do check out the black as it is really deep-set black! In the Intense Kajal collection, there are 4 different shades and they are Black, brown, green and grey.
The Elite Intense Kajal promises to dramatizes eyes and defines your eye make-up… While the pigment stays gentle to the eye area, this product will complement your eye-makeup so that it will be more alluring.
I love the smooth texture of the Intense Kajal so i don’t have to tug it much on my eyelids to get the color on.. Since it glides on very easily and can be easily smudge out (to desired intensity) using my fingers, application is such a breeze… Moreover, there is no need to sharpen this product so it’s really user-friendly!
In Taiwan, this product stays on to my eye area without smudging due to the dry weather condition during winter.. Hence, my eyelids don’t turn oily so easily and thus no smudging.. However, the staying power isn’t as good (i detected some smudging about 3-4 hours after application) when i used it in Singapore as i have overly active oil grands. Moreover, it is so hot and humid in Singapore… 😦
To prolong the staying power, I’ll suggest that you prep your eyes using primer and powder your under eye-area. In this way, the powder will help absorb the oil to minimize smudging. I tried it with primer + powder and the kajal stays on without smudging for about 5-6 hours.. 🙂
Here’s the OOTD after using the UV base and Intense Kajal along with my other make-up products..
