(Announcement) Red Bull giveaway (from 29 – 31 July) to reward early bird commuters!

As you know, LTA has started an one-year trial (funded by government) from 24 June 2013 to provide FOC travel on rail into the city area before 7.45 am on weekdays at 16 designated MRT stations in the city area**. In addition, commuters who exit at these stations between 7.45 am and 8 am will be given a discount of up to 50 cents off their train fare. Through this trial, government hopes to alleviate the morning peak hour crowding situation by spread out the morning peak hour crowds to the pre-peak period,

*Commuters must exit at any of the 16 designated stations in the city area by 7.45 am on Mondays to Fridays (excluding public holidays). The train journey must not begin at any of these 16 designated stations. The 16 designated stations are Bugis, Chinatown, City Hall, Clarke Quay, Dhoby Ghaut, Lavender, Orchard, Outram Park, Raffles Place, Somerset, Tanjong Pagar, Bayfront, Bras Basah, Esplanade, Marina Bay and Promenade.

In support of Singapore’s free train rides initiative, RED BULL also like to take the opportunity encourage,  reward and energize early bird commuters with up to 250,000 cans of the all-new Red Bull Less Sugar!

Red Bull is launching a “Red Bull Real Singapore Heroes” Campaign from 29 July. This Campaign is about recognizing and rewarding ordinary Singaporeans who have made a difference to others through their own selfless and noble acts. To kick-off the Campaign, the early bird MRT commuters are the first batch of Singapore Heroes whom Red Bull is celebrating. Red Bull has prepared up to 250,000 cans of the new Red Bull Less Sugar to be distributed to these early birds at Chevron House, from 29 – 31 July.

Early commuters can grab free cans of the new Red Bull Less Sugar from the Red Bull Roving Team between 7 – 8 am during from 29 – 31 July for an instant boost in energy.. In addition, Red Bull will like to continue to ‘Perk-everyone-up” during lunch time and hence this giveaway will continue at the heart of the CBD from 12-2 pm.. During this timing, Red Bull’s Team will also roll out fun games whereby you can stand to win great prizes.. Lastly,  Red Bull Ambassadors will also be visiting selected offices in Raffles Place Area during working hours to hand out energy boost! Sounds really exciting right? 😀

Through this 3 days initiative, Red Bull Singapore has set aside up to 250000 cans of the new Red Bull Less Sugar worth $500000 and other perks to be given out free during 29 – 31 July

Mr Lam Pin Won, Director of Allswell Trading Pte Ltd (Singapore’s distributor for Red Bull) said that free MRT rides initiative is commendable and early commuters who are taking action to resolve overcrowding issues deserve some recognition.. As such, Red Bull wants to be part of the initiatives and hope that through the giveaway, commuters will be more motivated to change their travel schedule and head out earlier into the city. The giveaway will then serves as a much-needed morning boost and to keep them energized throughout the day.

Mr Lam will also be on ground personally to hand out cans to commuters.
