Aqualia Thermal Night Spa Sleeping Mask’s Review!

Hello my readers, i’m back with a review on one lifesaver product which helped my dry & sensitive skin tremendously after i came back from Finland. Wandering through the extremely cold & snowy city for two weeks had left my skin red, dry, painful and delicate. Despite piling my skin (both facial and body) with rich moisturizer, my skin still suffered from the inevitable. After coming back to Singapore, skin remains to be delicate and dehydrated (especially on my nose area which i have experienced dry & flaky skin, ouch!)

Skin turned red and painful due to the harsh winter elements!

Covered from head to toe to combat the cold but it was impossible to cover my face as my spectacle will fog up! Hence, i have to choose between vision or protecting my skin. Of course i chose vision so now i have to slowly ‘nurse’ my skin back to health! One of my greatest nightmare is to suffer from dry and dehydrated skin as a lot of skin issues will surface due to that (Problems like over-oily, unhealthy and premature aging etc).

While i was in Finland, an angel (thank you Sharon!) emailed me and told me that she will be sending me an award-winning hydration sleeping mask from Vichy. Know as the Aqualia Thermal Night Spa, this hydrating sleeping mask offers night spa treatment for rested, radiant and beautiful skin. Formulated with high concentration of Hyaluronic Acid and Aquabioryl, together with Vichy Thermal Spa Water, the Night Spa infuses superior, intense hydration and replenishment continuously all night long, even for sensitive skin. Since its launch in late 2013, it has received several Beauty Awards and has been loved by Beauty Editors in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and Singapore!

My Verdict I can vouch for that Vichy’s products work well if you have acne prone yet sensitive skin. I’ve tried many of Vichy’s products before and you can read the various reviews via this LINK. One of the highly recommended must try product will be the Vichy thermal spa water as it really soothes, hydrates & refreshes my skin! The Aqualia Thermal Night Spa also contains the Vichy thermal spa water, along with high concentration of Hyaluronic Acid and Aquabioryl so how can i not try it to nurse my extremely dehydrated & delicate skin back to health? Upon unscrewing the lid of the sturdy glass container, the texture / colour of the Aqualia Thermal Night Spa left a deep impression on me! Its aqua blue gel cream looks thick & creamy but it feels so light after application. My skin ‘drank’ it up almost immediately so there’s no stickiness! Because of the packaging (in a jar), i will tend to dig out too much products occasional so if only the packaging is in a tube (which makes application more hygienic too)! If you over-apply, it will make my face appears to be rather shiny so just keep in mind to apply a thin layer. The Aqualia Thermal Night Spa has a camomile-ish scent and it smells very soothing & refreshing.

Like all sleeping mask, it is highly recommended to apply a thick layer on the face and neck as the last step of your skincare routine, allowing it to infuse into the skin. After 10-15 min, gently massage any excess onto the skin or remove it with a cotton pad. Alternatively, you can also leave it on overnight and just rinse your skin with warm water the next morning… Since it is made to suit sensitive skin, the sleeping mask sinks into my skin very quickly without causing any redness and stinging sensation which is really important for me as the state of my skin is really fragile~ I like how smooth & soft my skin feels after application and it really does help with the dryness / tightness (in just one application). The next morning, i woke up to radiant and glowy skin! The dryness around my nose area is gone after 2 overnight application and i’m really impressed with it. Overall, it moisturizes very well and a little goes a long way.. As you can see from the picture below (i am not wearing any makeup, only sunblock), my skin no longer looks dry, red and irritated. This has to be the best sleeping mask i have ever come across. 🙂

If you are facing problem like dry and irriated skin, why not give the Aqualia Thermal Night Spa and feel the difference yourself! If you wish to try the product before buying, you can get samples at @
