Hello everyone!!!! I’m back with another review post of two products that Althea has sent me~ So blessed to be their beauty ambassador as i have the chance to enjoy the K-beauty awesomeness that Althea have to offer. For years, Althea has been playing an important role in bridging authentic K-beauty to SEAsians. Althea is an one-stop shopping destination where everyone in the world can enjoy authentic K-beauty products at a reasonable price, just as Korean consumers do in Korea.
I will be introducing more on Althea’s Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist and Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser that’s self-designed and manufactured by Althea themselves!
Althea has their 1st celebrity collaboration and its none other than with Titi Kamal who is not only beautiful but also a talented movie star and singer from Jakarta, Indonesia! And on top of that, she is as enthusiastic about beauty trends across Southeast Asia and her passion for understanding what consumers love.. The collaboration with Titi Kamal has resulted in Althea’s first body mist, the Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist 💖
Titi Kamal is an Indonesian actress and singer with a knack for fashion and style. Best identified by her luxuriously long black hair, she’s a beauty icon that’s captured the hearts of fans all across Southeast Asia.
If you are someone who loves a feminine mix of fruity and floral scents, you will love the Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist. The mist is a sparkling mix of sweet orange and peach, followed by an ever-graceful echo of rosy floral notes. Not overbearing strong, this gentle perfume lingers on the body for a long-lasting scent. It also has a non-sticky formula that feels comfortable on the skin, and it embodies the elegance and beauty of Titi in a bottle, perfect for the urban femme. The combination of these beautiful scents will give you that fresh feeling you need to seize the day. The bottle is perfectly sized (100ml) to fit in your handbag or travel carry-on so you’ll always be ready to impress.
Damask rose-water – Keeps the skin hydrated and gives a gentle fragrance
Orange Flower extract – Refreshes the senses
Elder flower extract – Cools and soothes the skin, while giving out a feminine scent
The Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist has a simple but yet feminine packaging. The bottle is made of plastic with a spray mechanism nozzle. Personally i felt that the nozzle is a little too stiff and i hope it will ‘loosen’ after multiple uses. I have always been a big fan of fruity and floral scent and i love how the Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist has a nice blend of rose scent complemented with orange and peach citrus + fruity scent! It isn’t too over-powering and the staying power is decent as well (I still can smell it after 3 hours of application). Most important of all, it is not drying on skin or leaves behind a sticky film. Retailing at $11.60, i would say that this item is a good buy if you are looking for an affordable body mist.
I have also receive Althea’s Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser which helps extract dirt from inside the pores and to maintain a healthy pH balance of the skin. Combining the powers of a cleanser and serum, the Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser promises to whisk away makeup, dirt, and oil with mint extracts. It also ensures the skin stays cool and hydrated throughout thanks to a dual moisture cell system that envelopes the skin in a serum-like formula. It prevents the skin from drying out and effectively minimizes enlarged pores, keeping it smooth to the touch. This product also helps to balance the pH levels of the skin to keep it working in tip-top shape! Best of all, it’s gentle on the face and suitable even for people with sensitive skins.

You can either use the Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser to remove make up or to cleanse the skin. I’m using it to remove my lipstick and to cleanse my skin (when my skin is feeling oily during mid day). Personally, i will pour a generous amount on a cotton pad and swipe it gently over my face to wipe off grease, dirt and lip stick. If not, you can also pour the cleanser onto your palm and gently massage the product all over your skin in circular motions for 5-10 seconds before rinsing it off with water. However if you are having heavy makeup on, it is highly recommended that you do double cleansing.
I like the light floral scent from the Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser but don’t like the packaging! I’m hoping that it will come with a pump so that usage will be made more convenient. The serum cleanser has a higher viscosity than water but not as thick as an oil based makeup remover. When i first touched the cleanser, i do find the texture a little oily but after application it does not leave skin feeling greasy. After application, it leaves my skin refreshed, clean, smooth and moisturized. It does remove greasy, dirt and lip stick well with just a few gentle swipes. At $11, the Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser is definitely worth the buy!
